Calling all canine companions and their humans! Happily Haunted Hounds is the one and only night of the year where dogs are invited to explore and smell their way through the magic of Bookworm Gardens. Stroll through the Gardens decked out with over 100,000 twinkling lights and whimsical structures, view creatively decorated pumpkins, and take part in a Halloween-themed storytime and scavenger hunt.
Whether you’re wagging a tail or walking on two feet, this is a night you won’t want to miss! Happily Haunted Hounds is a family-friendly event celebrating the joy of Halloween with your furry companions. Leashes are required for all dogs, and please clean up after your pup.

Event admission is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Reciprocal and Library Garden membership admission is not honored during our events. The Gardens are open rain or shine. In the case of unsafe or severe weather conditions, please visit our website and follow us on social media for updates
EVENT GUIDELINES:
To ensure everyone has a great time, please read below the guidelines to keep everyone safe and happy:
All well behaved dogs are welcome on a non-retractable leash at all times.
Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet.
Dogs must be current on rabies vaccination.
Event staff reserves the right to eject any aggressive or obviously ill animal.
Pet owners assume full responsibility for their pets. Bookworm Gardens cannot be held liable for any incidents or injury. By entering the festival, attendees accept full responsibility for any risks to themselves and their pets.
