2024 Experiences for Adults in the Gardens


Classes + Workshops

Fillers, Spillers, + Thrillers: Planter Workshop

Wednesday, May 29 | 4:00 - 6:00pm

Join Bookworm Gardens’ Horticulturist, Jenna, for a workshop highlighting different plants used for fillers, spillers, and thrillers to make a more dynamic planter! Created in a pot liner, you will be able to take your creation home and place into your favorite pot for the spring season.

Guided Group Tours

Bookworm Gardens offers visitor groups the chance to experience the magic of Bookworm Gardens with an Adult Group Guided Tour. To check availability or request a reservation for an Adult Group Guided Tour, please complete the Tour Request Form

Tours calendars for 2024 will open on January 8, 2024. Tours are $15 per person, with a minimum of 15 people (or $225). Add $3 for our Horticulture Highlights tour. Non-family groups of 15 or more adults must book a group tour. Tours are offered Wednesdays – Fridays, 10 AM to 3 PM from May through September, and are 50 minutes in length. They include a same day coupon for 10% off our Nature Shop for all tour participants.

2024 Tour Options:

  • Bookworm Gardens: Wonder + Whimsy! Immerse yourself in the Gardens and explore over 75 children's books in this engaging and interactive guided tour experience. Learn about Bookworm's creation, find gorgeous blooms, and discover the whimsy of the Gardens.

  • Bookworm Gardens: Horticulture Highlights! (Add $3 per person) Explore our botanical garden with an interactive guided tour experience. Learn more about how the Gardens’ books relate to plantings and how our unique mission impacts our garden design.
